SUMMARY
Tectono-metallogeny of Northeast ViÖt Nam
Lª Duy B¸ch, Ng« Gia Th¾ng
The Northeast ViÖt Nam lithosphere is characterized by a complicated assemblage of different tectonic structures and a spectrum of metallogeny. The geodynamic regimes occured in the evolution history from the Early Pre-Cambrian to present time have generated the main tectonic structural generations, such as: 1- Pre-Cambrian folded structures; 2- Paleozoic folded structures; 3- Mesozoic-Cenozoic intraplate superimposed destructive structures.
Based on the geodynamic features used for metallogenic interpretation and prognosis in accordance to the plate tectonic concept, it may be established the model for metallogenic prognosis in the N-E ViÖt Nam lithosphere in the basic order composed of 3 geodynamic-metallogenic systems as follow:
1. The S«ng Hång System: It is the S«ng Hång suture zone. The most characteristic metallogenic potential consists of graphite, precious stones, Au, U, Th and mica related to the folded Pre-Cambrian basement reactivated by Meso-Cenozoic tectonic movements; and the oil, gas and coal related to the Hµ Néi Depresion.
2. The Hµ Giang - Qu¶ng Ninh System composed of the L«-G©m, S«ng Ch¶y, Phó Ng÷, Coastal B¾c Bé, An Ch©u and Hßn Gai - Hµ Cèi tectonic zones. The metallogenic potential is characterized by Au, Sb, Cu, Fe, Ti, U-Th, Mn, Hg and very big potential in coal.
3. The Cao-B¾c-L¹ng System composed of the Chang Pung, B¾c S¬n, H¹ Lang and S«ng HiÕn tectonic zones. The metallogenic potential is characterized by Au, Sb, Pb-Zn, Al, Mn, Cu.
The mineral resources of best prospect in Northeast ViÖt Nam were formed in the continental intraplate geodynamic regime.
