In the symposium on the artificial replenishment method for groundwater, organized by the Department of Geology and Minerals of ViÖt Nam in the last July, scientists and managers unanimously recognized the necessity and possibility of applying this method in the country, but the selection of area for this work is still a remaining problem. Aiming to continue this question the author proposes to select an area in the B×nh ThuËn coastal zone for carrying out the first test study on this method. This paper brings up the arguments of the selection of this area.
