On the basis of a combination of various methods (field survey, geomorphology, remote sensing, and tectonophysics…) the authors have defined kinematic characters as well as dynamo-metamorphic features of the B¶n Cëm - Minh Ngäc Fault Zone.

During its existence and development the B¶n Cëm - Minh Ngäc Fault Zone has undergone at least three phases of deformation: the early phase characterized by inverse field with the NW – SE trend of the main fault; the middle phase represented by the normal field; whereas the late phase - by the sinistral strike-slip field. Currently, the main fault in this zone is a NW - SE trending, NE dipping, sinistral strike-slip fault with the dip ranging from 500 to 700. The width of the fault zone, which includes the main fault and associated parallel to horse-tail branches, ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 km. The dynamo-metamorphic products of the fault zone comprise tectonic breccia, cataclastic zone, zone of intense fracture and crumpling phenomenon.
