On the possibility of microgravimetry technique in investigation of small mineral deposit and in the survey on engineering geology and hydrogeology

The gravity method has been used in the geological mapping and in the study on oil and gas structure in ViÖt Nam since 1960. Over all the territory of ViÖt Nam there are the Bouguer maps at 1:1.000.000 and 1:500.000 scales. In some important regions, there are the gravity maps at from 1:200.000 to 1:50.000 scales.
Through some practical examples of applying the microgravimetry technique in foreign countries, the authors bring up the necessary to develop the microgravimetry technique in ViÖt Nam in the investigation of small mineral deposit and in the survey on engineering geology and hydrogeology.
