At present, there exist different ideas about the influence of neotectonic activities on the accumulative - erosive process in the B×nh TrÞ Thiªn coastal zone. The research results on these activities of the author of this paper have been leading to following remarks:

1) At the present time the influence of neotectonic activities on the stability of the seashore is inconsiderable in comparing with exogenous factors. However, during the long geological time neotectonic activities control the size and developing tendency of the accumulative-erosive process in the estuary and seashore areas. The close relation between the current status of accumulation-erosion and relative geotectonic movement in the B×nh TrÞ Thiªn coastal zone has been proving this.

2) Just the neotectonic movement of block differentiation from has been subdividing the shore zone into different relative uplift – subsidence zones, changing the impact of wave to the shoreline and leading to the differentiation of accumulation - erosion in each shore section of the B×nh TrÞ Thiªn coastal zone.
