Outline on the current status of environmental natural radiation and some measures of limiting bad influence to the ecologic environment of the Lµo Cai Province

On the basis of data collected from the survey on environmental natural radiation in 11 main inhabitant areas of the Lµo Cai Province namely: Lµo Cai Town, B¾c Hµ District, Cam §êng Townlet, Apatite Mine, B¶n PhiÖt area (graphite mine), Sin QuyÒn area, B¸t X¸t District, Mêng Hum area, Th©n Thuéc area, Than Uyªn District, and data of gamma radiation measured in Lµo Cai Province, the authors have accessed the furrent status of environmental natural radioactivity and its negative effect on the community life, and recommended some measures to protect the ecological environment in the Lµo Cai Province.
