From the Editorial Board. For contributing in the raise of quality of the exploration for solid minerals and providing with favourable conditions for the international joining in the domain of research, assessment and statistics of reserves / resources of minerals, in 2001 the Office of the Commission for Assessment of Mineral Resources compiled the draft of "Regulations of Classification for Reserves / Resources of Solid Minerals of ViÖt Nam", which can be fitted with the United Nations Framework Classification for Reserves / Resources of Solid Minerals with the aim to replace the Temporary Regulations (1973) of the Commission. The Journal of Geology publishes this Draft for the study and opinion poll from readers.
