Sericite has been widely used in cosmetic industry in many countries like Korea, Japan, France.... as a main source of coated powder. However in ViÖt Nam sericite has been studied only as rock-forming mineral without any economic sense. Based on the collected data the authors for the first time show out the quality, potentiality and possible use of sericite from Qu¶ng TrÞ and Qu¶ng Ninh areas and suggested new research works to be done in the coming time to make sericite as a good economical mineral resource.
