At present, the white limestone in M«ng S¬n area has been referred to Middle Cambrian and the main mineral ingredients include calcite (95 - 100%), graphite and a little muscovite.

In its natural state the M«ng S¬n white limestone is composed of following constituents (in average content): CaO = 55.29%; Fe2O3 = 0.054%; MgO = 0.25%, white level: 85.54%. After ore - processing, the quality of limestone increases, specifically: CaO up to 55.78%, Fe2O3 and MgO reduce, but without sudden transformation, white level up to 95.85%.

The quality of M«ng S¬n white limestone is good enough for producing the light and heavy superior blend for domestic use and export, but it has to be beneficiated and refined from fine grain to super fine grain.
