The research results on magmatic formations and their relation to the geological settings have proved that the intrusive - extrusive magmatic series and their formation in the Middle of Central ViÖt Nam characterize different geodynamic settings.

- The V©n Canh - Mang Yang intrusive - extrusive magmatic series with the same felsic composition and formed in the Middle Triassic are related to the collision condition, that derived from rift zone in the consolidated continents.

- The §Þnh Qu¸n, §Ìo C¶ - Nha Trang intrusive - extrusive magmatic series with intermediate-felsic-subalkaline composition, formed in the period of Cretaceous – Paleogene, characterize the active continental margin of Andes type.

- The Cï M«ng - §¹i Nga intrusive - extrusive magmatic series formed in the Cenozoic with mafic composition characterize geodynamic condition of the East Sea rifting.
