The data base is a necessary work for every research or production branch or domain. In ViÖt Nam the geological data base has been paid attention by some organs of the branch, but there still exist some remaining questions, causing the asynchronism and inconvenience for users. On the basis of their research the authors of the paper propose a geological data base according to a modern relation data base model. There, all data which can be found by the users are organized closely in data tables, and all operations on the data base are realized on these table. Therefore, the data base will have high synchronism, much superiority in searching, exploiting, updating, rectifying and easily putting into the Internet.
