Summary

Suèi §¸n nickel sulphide mineralization

§inh H÷u Minh

The Suèi §¸n nickel sulphide mineralization was discovered at the end of 1999 by the programme of investigation for anomalies of the helicopter electromagnetic and magnetic survey (HEM). This is a new discovery and considered as one of the success of the regional exploration programme of B¶n Phóc Nickel Mines Ltd.

The Suèi §¸n nickel sulphide mineralization is a magmatic sulphide body occurring in a fractured zone with series of small mafic and ultramfic dykes. It is 1100 m long and 0.4 to 3.3 m thick confirmed by drilling data of the first testing phase, and possible more than 2300 m long according to the ground electromagnetic data. The mineralization has average grade of 2.3% Ni, 1.1% Cu , 0.14% Co and 2 g/t ( Pt+Pd+Au ) .
