Construction of the database of marine mineral geology, environmental geology, geological hazards in marine areas of Việt Nam by using WebGIS technology

The Marine Geology and Mineral Centre (MGMC) has paid special attention to the construction of database system for years. In MGMC’s projects, we have been carrying out not only special subjects for geology, mineral resources, environmental geology, geological hazards, and so on, but also special subjects for building database which are the most important of them.

We have so far built the database system based on WebGIS technology with MapServer, NET FRAMEWORK 3.5, VISUAL STUDIO 2008…, which facilitates users to look up the data (table, map, photo data, …) through the network system (LAN, Intranet, Internet).
