SUMMARY
Some
new informations on PreCambrian geological formations
in the Hưng Khánh - Minh An area,
La Mai Sơn, Phạm Thanh Bình,
Nguyễn Văn Can
In the studied area,
PreCambrian regional metamorphic rocks, rather largely
distributed, have been divided into Suối Chiềng and Sin Quyền Formations of
Paleo-Mesoproterozoic age. They have the volcano-sedimentary origin, having
uniform level of regional metamorphism of epidote-amphibolite facies, bearing
iron ores of banded form.
Granitoids of the Ca Vịnh
Complex occur only in the form of small massifs with the width of some tens m
to some km, extending on the structural direction of metamorphic rocks. These rocks are the product of the ultrametamorphic process of the
rocks of Suối Chiềng Formation.
