Some characteristics of Indosinian tectonic cycle in South

The Indosinian tectonic
cycle in South Việt Nam is one of the most important and specific tectonic
cycles in the territory. The paper briefly reviews the origine, development and
evolution of Indosinian structures. In this stage, on the territorry of South
Việt Nam, the structural zones consist of An Khê (Mang Yang),
Đăk Lin - Bản Đôn, Phú Quốc - Hà Tiên, molassic-terrigenous coal-bearing Nông
Sơn - An Điềm (Sông Bung) depression. They formed the mosaic structures of
uplift massifs and Mesozoic superimposed depressions.
