Ninh Thuận, a
province of South Trung Bộ, has a high potential in
magmatic rocks, which can be used as facing stone. The rocks used in making the
facing stone have various colours, such as: black-grey and black-green
gabbrodiorite of Núi Một area; white granite of Núi Gió area; light- to
dark-green of Từ Thiện area. Basing on the research results, we can determine
that the gabbrodiorite rocks of the Núi Một area belong to the 1st
phase of the Định Quán Complex. They have the black-grey, black-green colour.
These rocks also have the beauty, high mechanical durability and high degree of
block recovery. They satisfy standards of production of facing stone and have
reputation in both domestic and foreign markets.
