Quality features and potential of iron in Mộ Đức area, Quảng Ngãi Province

The Mộ Đức area, Quảng Ngãi Province is one of many areas in Việt Nam having high potential of iron ores. The investment for reconnaissance and evaluation of quality and possibility of exploitation and use of these ores in industry, however, is quite limited. On the basis of results of our reconnaissance and data synthesis, we introduce in this article the geological features, quality and potential of iron ores in Mộ Đức area. These results can be used as a basis for exploration and exploitation works and making research on suitable ore beneficiation and refining technologies to satisfy the requirements of development for many industries.
