Characteristics of metasomatites related to constructive material rocks
of the Tân Lập area, Lập Thạch District, Vĩnh Phúc Province

The metasomatic rocks have been discovered in the Tân Lập Commune area, Lập Thạch District, Vĩnh Phúc Province. The first results of study on physical composition, texture and structure show that, metasomatic rocks in this area consist of magnesium skarn. Its genetic type is polyphase metasomatite, characterized by 3 mineralogical associations: forsterite + diopside + spinel, serpentine + talc and serpentine + magnesite. The quality of these rocks satisfies the requirements of the constructive material and steel-and-concrete production.
