SUMMARY
On the classification of tin ore deposits and its
prospecting
direction in accordance to plate tectonics
Lê
Như Lai
In this paper, the classification of tin
ore deposits of several authors is discussed. The author emphasizes the very
important role of effusive acidic magma in tin ore formation. The tin ore
bodies of this type have the characteristics of disseminated or stratiform,
stratoid or lenticular deposits. The author imagines that the classification of
residual tin deposits, falling into the tin placer deposit, can not be sensible
and proposes to classify this deposit into the residual weathering deposits.
The tin ore deposits in relation to
plate tectonics are primarily discussed. The author promotes the prospecting
direction for tin ore bodies in accordance to plate tectonics.
