Analysis of
contemporaneous geodynamic features of the East Việt Nam sea region

On the basis of applying methods of the complex analysis of the
geologo-geophysical, geomorphological, seismological and GPS data, is examined the geodynamic regime of the
different sea troughs: Black Sea, Adriatic, Caspian, Ligurian, Tirrenian and East Việt
Nam Sea.
There were distinctly and uniquely revealed spatial relations and transition
between all stages of the manifestation of depressive regime (taphrogenesis),
as well as between depressive (taphrogenic) and platform regime. On this basis is
shown the relationship between contemporaneous and ancient geodynamic processes and
features of underwater seismicity for the East Việt Nam Sea. The got results show that in the studied area exist all
stages of manifestation of the depressive regime. However, only one of them is
dominant, occupying about 50% of the total area. This is the stage T3, in whose
sphere of manifestation the bevelled thickness of the Earth crust reaches
from 10 to 15 km. This stage is the most
widespread in such troughs, as Black Sea, Tirrenian and East Việt Nam Sea.
The manifestation of other stages differs one from another for different
troughs. Particularly, the contemporaneous stages T5 and T6 represent only for East Việt
Nam Sea
troughs.
