Some new problems on regional geology in the southwest band of the Yên Châu map sheet group occurring through the geological mapping at 1:50.000 scale

The geological mapping and mineral investigation of the Yên Châu map sheet group has been bringing forth some new problems on regional geology in the southwest band of the sheet group, such as the more detailed description of the formations Nặm Cô (NP nc), Huổi Hào (NP hh), Nặm Ty (NP-ε₁ nt), Sông Mã (ε₂ sm), Hàm Rồng (ε₃ hr), Đông Sơn (O₁ ds), Nặm Pìa (D₁ np), Bản Páp (D_1-2 bp), Bắc Sơn (C-P bs), Cẩm Thủy (P₃ ct) and Yên Duyệt (P₃ yd). Especially, there is the new discovery of graptolites, based on it a new formation, the Kết Hay one, of Late Ordovician(?) - Early Silurian (O₃?-S₁ kh) has been established. Besides, some magmatic bodies of the Pác Nặm (U/NP-ε₁ pn) and Bó Xinh (Gb/NP-ε₁ bx) Complexes have been found and presented on this map sheet group.
