The vertical zonation of primary holoes and the using of geochemical prospecting data to estimate the erosion level of ore bodies in the Suối Bốn gold mine

Nguyễn Chí Vũ, Nguyễn Thị Kiều Oanh

The vertical zonation of primary holoes of ore elements is one of the most important features which were used to estimate the mine erosion level and to find the hidden ore bodies. In order to study the vertical zonation of primary holoes, the following quantities can be used: Dimension of primary holoes (L, m); anormalous everage content of element ( , %) and contrast zoning coefficient (k); Straight line productive content (M, m%), ore area productive content (P, m2%) and zoning coefficient (v); Ratio of additive ore and multiplicative productive contents (Kn) and correlative coefficient (r). In the case of the secondary holoes have a strong correlation with primary holoes (ore body), the geochemical prospecting data of the secondary holoes can be used to estimate the erosion level of ore bodies and to define the prospect of mine area. In this case, the geochemical research result of the Suối Bốn gold mine was an excellent example.
